EIMA International has been hosting over a number of editions the showcase on technologies for the use of energy sources of agricultural and forestry origin, EIMA Energy. The showcase is organized in collaboration with ITABIA, Italian Biomass Association, and has become the most qualified appointment for business people in the sector over the years.

Agro-forestry biomass, the residues of operations and specific crops for energy use, are a strategic resource for the economies of many countries and an increasingly important business for farming enterprises. The showcase provides a full panorama of the machinery and technologies for the rational and economical management of sustainable agro-energy supply chains at extending from the farm to an industrial scale in all geographic settings.

Other than the purely exposition side where the industries manufacturing bio-energy machinery and equipment are located, the EIMA Energy area provides a demonstration area and a number of seminars and conferences targeted on esperts and business people in the sector and the general public.
